Jennifer Lawrence is one of the most known actor in Hollywood. Jennifer Lawrence got her first break in Hollywood when she was just 14. She was spotted while having a vacation with her family in New York. Her first TV series in which worked was ‘The Bill Engvall Show’ and also debuted with her first film ‘The Garden party’ in 2008.

In this movie she played a role of supporting actor. Jennifer Lawrence is best known for her versatile performances in every film and series. She did lots of movies and series which made her won ample number of awards in the Hollywood Industry. She also tried modelling and theater but she never thought that one day she would become a great star. Her films grossed over $5.7 billion and she became the most highest paid actress in 2015 and 2016. Jennifer was once engaged with Cooke Maroney in 2018.

Jennifer Lawrence is the most popular American Actor. She was born on 15 August 1990 in Louisville, Kentucky . She was already an athletic child and was involved in hockey ,softball and cheer-leading. Lawrence thought that she would become a doctor in future. She played many roles in churches and schools. In her teenage, she also did modelling and theater which somehow give a way to her journey of an actress.

When she was a child some stranger asked for her photo and also took her Mother’s phone number, the guy called her next day and said that she should take a screen test. In the age of 14, she got her first series to work on and later she come to know that this is what she is and being an actor is what she wants .

Jennifer Lawrence’s family consists of her father, Gary Lawrence; her mother, Karen and her two brother, Blaine and Ben Lawrence. Her both the brothers are older than her and owns a farm outside the city. Jennifer’s parents totally gave her the freedom to choose her career by herself and were totally satisfied with her daughter being an actress. Jennifer Lawrence says that her main thing in life is love and family.

Relationship

Jennifer had dated many guys in her long journey of acting. She  is always remembered for the five mans she had dated when we talk about her relationship status. She dated first man in 2010 and the relationship was public. He is a British actor named Nicholas Ho-ult.

They both met on the sets of X-men and Jen and Nicholas struck up a romance and started dating each other. They broke up in 2013 but it seems nothing bad about each other because they had a very friendly chat when they met on the Golden Globes in 2016.  In 2014, she dated cold-play’s Chris Martin, Jen used to support him for concerts. People were amazed to see both unlikely match and they both were spotted while dating each other and also traveled on a private jet together. But soon at the end of the year, rumors were spread about their break up and finally they broke up in the next year, 2015.

Jen had feelings for her co-actor, Liam Hems-worth while filming ‘Hunger games’. In December , she revealed that she had few kisses with him off-screen and that they both grew together. But Liam was married to Miley Cyrus but they both have been an amazing pairs. While working on the film ‘mother’, Jen linked to the director, Darren Aronofsky in 2016.

This relationship was private but they broke up in 2017, they were also very good friends before dating each other. Later she have been in a relationship with the art dealer, Cooke Maroney. ‘Hunger games’ was based on a novel by Suzanne Collins. This film broke the box office record and earned around $2.8 billion dollars at global box office . Another popular film of her was the ‘silver linings playbook’ in 2013. Because of this movie, Lawrence won Oscar and this movie won many awards and got lot of nominations. For the film ,’joy ‘, Lawrence won another Golden Globe for her performance and later took another Oscar to her home. When she was 25, she became the youngest performer in history, who earned four Academy Award nominations.

Her most popular TV series are,’Monk’, ‘The Bill Engvall Show’, ‘Made in Hollywood’ and ,’Extra’. Her first series in which she worked was the ‘Big Engvall show’. Lawrence is also known for her essay. She wrote an essay titled, “Why do I Make Less Than My Male Co-Stars?” This essay came around media and Lawrence was asked her opinion about it and she explained that this essay discusses the ongoing gender wage gap issues.

Controversies/Affairs

Jennifer Lawrence was caught up in many controversies but she never ever invested a minute in replying or answering but in this one controversy she had to answer. This controversy was about her Versace dress in an event. The comments were misogynistic and sexiest because she was the only women there who wore Red Sparrow crew that wasn’t bundled up for the outdoor press event. She replied ,”This is not only utterly ridiculous, I am extremely offended. That Versace dress was fabulous, you think I’m going to cover that gorgeous dress with a coat or a scarf? I was outside for 5 minutes. I would have stood in the snow for that dress because I love fashion and that was my choice.”

She again got in controversy because of her film, ‘Mother’. Many said that this film promoted violence against women and along with that people didn’t liked Lawrence dating her much older director. Because of such buzz about the film, it lead to to the break up with her director.

Lawrence was interviewed in the show of Ellen DeGeneres in 2012 and was speaking about LGBTQ but the audience thought that she is somehow making fun of transgender. People got it wrong because she supports equal rights for LGBTQ community. These were some of the buzzed controversies of Lawrence in the Hollywood industry.
