Ucchi Pillayar Rockfort Temple
Devoted to Lord Ganesha, also known as Rock Fort temple, this temple is built on the rock of 85 m high with 344 steps that lead to the top at the altitude of 273 feet. Fro the top, one can see the stunning views of the Kaveri river, Tichy city, and Srirangam.
Built by the Pallavas, this temple has some incredible and beautiful ancient architecture which is now maintained by the Archeological department of India. There are two rock-cut temples in the fort, one is called Lower Cave temple in the lower part of the fort and one in the complex outside called the Upper Cave temple.

Jambukeswarar Temple
This temple is situated on the southern banks of river Kaver and near Srirangam Island. Built around 1800 years ago by the early Cholas, dedicated to Lord Shiva and one of the major five temples representing the element ‘neer’ which means ‘water’. There is an underground water stream to the sanctum of Lord Jambukeshwara and water can be seen coming out of the stream.

Ranganathaswamy Temple

Erumbeeswarar Temple
Dedicated to Lord Shiva, who is hoisted on a 60-foot tall hill called Malai Kovil and can be reached via a flight of granite steps. Carved with the Dravidian style of architecture, this temple has inscriptions which depict the story dated back to the Cholas in ten century and has been declared a protected monument by the Archaeological survey of India.

Panchavarneswarar Temple

The change in colors in the Linga is observed by the devotees during each puja. IT is the 5th Shiva temple on the southern bank of Cauvery river.

Sri Azhagiya Manavala Perumal Temple
This Hindu temple is one of the 108 Vishnu temples in India and considered as the second in the line of Divyadesam after Srirangam Ranganathswamy temple. This temple is of great importance because it is believed that it is the birthplace of the Saint Tirupanazhwar who is one among the celebrated 12 Vaishanavite saints. Navaratri is celebrated here wholeheartedly in the month of September-October.

Samayapuram Mariamman Temple

Vayalur Murugan temple
Built during the reign of Cholas and 1200 years old, the temple is dedicated to Muruga. Surrounded by lush green fields, a beautiful pond called Sakti Tirtham can be seen in front of the temple. It is located between the two villages called karkkudi and Somarasampettai and the river Uyyakondan is flowing on the northern side of the village. And also there are about 207 stairs to climb up to reach the temple.

Sri Brahmapureeswarar Temple
One of the rare temples which predominantly a Shiva temple and dedicated to Lord Brahma and It is believed that here, fate can be changed by seeking the blessings. Apart from this, there are other 12 small shrines for seeking blessings. The idol of Lord Brahma is decorated with turmeric and is six feet high sitting on a Lotus in meditative.
