Paula Maxine Patton is an American actress. Paula debuted with her first comedy film, ‘Hitch’ in 2005. Patton is married to Robin Thicke who was a recording artist. They dated each other in 1993 and married each other in 2005. They have a son named Julian Fuego Thicke.

Her first job in entertainment was as a production assistant on Howie Mandel’s talk show. She gave many popular movies and she has been appeared as playing lead roles in the films. She played a lead role in ‘Deja Vu’, ‘Mission Impossible- ghost protocol’, ‘2 guns and precious’. Patton won a three months assignment making documentaries for PBS. She won few remarkable awards for her performances in the films.

Paula Patton was born on 5 December, 1975 in Los Angeles, California, United States. Her full name is Paula Maxine Patton. Her father, Charles Patton was a lawyer and he was African American and her mother, Joyce Patton was a school teacher and she was European American. She took admission in University of Southern California’s Film School after she completed her graduation. Later, she won a three month assignment making documentaries for PBS.

Relationship

Paula Patton is married to Robin Thicke. Robin Thicke fell in love with Paula when he was just 14. They kept their relationship inseparable and kept loving each other for many years. As Paula was with him all those years that she didn’t got to date anyone else. They met in the dance bars and she also said that for the first time he asked me to dance and the rest is history. Seeing their relationship so strong that everybody believed that they are meant to remain forever. But somehow time came and the relationship broke.

They were together for many years and loved each other but issues occurred between them and they got divorced. She loved him so much and also said once that “He makes me feel beautiful. That’s the best thing about having a partner- there is someone to tell you, ‘stop it, you look great’; he can’t say anything else- he is been trained”. The relationship was of 20 years but they also made people realize that even the most sustained relationship can be broken.

There were allegations of child abuse and also domestic violence by Paula. The relationship got worse and they finally got divorced and broke the relationship of 20 years because of such drastic change in Robin. Paula also filed a case against him by saying that he beaten her and his own child. Another reason of his changes is the fame, he himself admitted that when his career took off he changed because of the fame. Also it was said that, Robin didn’t had good relations with Paula’s family and misbehaved with her father too. They also have a son named Juliana Fuego Thicke.

Patton made her feature film debut in 2005 with her first comedy film, ‘Hitch’. Later she was seen as playing lead roles in movies such as ‘deja vu’ in 2006, ‘precious’ in 2009, ‘mission impossible – ghost protocol’ in 2011, ‘2 guns’ in 2013 and ‘Warcraft’ in 2016. Along with the films she also provided female vocal counterpart on the song “Can you handle it?” This song was written by Robin Thicke.

Another song in which she was seen was “Lost without you”, this song was again written by Robin Thicke. Patton appeared in ‘just Wright’ in 2010, which was a romantic comedy. Her popular film with Tom Cruise ‘mission impossible’ was a critical and commercial success. Apart from doing romantic film she did action and comedy films and crime drama as well.

She was also replaced by actresses in films but she did gave her best in her all the films and didn’t gave up. Paula was caste for a romantic comedy film,’the perfect match’ and also appeared in a Netflix comedy film , ‘the do over’. Paula Patton starred as a lead role in a drama series named as ‘somewhere between’. This series was of ten episode in season one and was cancelled for another seasons after releasing the release of first season.

Paula wasn’t really seen in many controversies but she was into headlines due to her comments and statements. There were rumors that she is dating someone new after getting divorced. But in an show when she was asked about these rumors she clearly said that “I don’t give a fuck”. She was into scandal because of all these matter and her marriage and divorce stories created much of rumors, controversies and put Paula in an scandalous situations.
